WE BID YOU FAREWELL. On March 31st, 2012 I will be officially closing Hairs to You Salon. I want to let you all know that it has been my greatest honor to serve you these past 14 years and thank you for your friendship, laughter and inspiration. Owning this salon has been my greatest success and every friend, customer, sales rep, stylist and staff member that ever walked through my doors - contributed to that success. I appreciate you all for providing me this incredible opportunity and I close my doors with only the very best of feelings. Julie VanHoever, Dawn Onchangu, Denise Hites, Karen Kenney, Ruth Johnson and Vicki Graff have all found a new home in Little Canada called Salon 514 and Suzanne Brown will be hanging up her shears and retiring. We have been a sisterhood for many years and I wish them all the success and joy the world has to offer them. Mandy, the owner of Salon 514 has purchased my equipment and stylist stations so when you walk into her salon, it will all feel very familiar:) This transition will take place the 1st of April and we are running business as usual until Saturday March 31st. All appointments and previous scheduling for after the 1st of April will be transferred via our computer system. If somehow we were unable to contact you to inform you of the closing, we deeply apologize and hope you will find your way to where the stylists are. As for me? My husbands illness has made these last 3 years challenging and I have learned a very great lesson in spreading myself too thin to try to “do it all”. I understand now that nothing gets my full attention when I am focused in too many directions and that we come to a point where we have to make the decision on how we want to spend our days. This was my life-changing moment for closing the salon and it has been very bittersweet. I will continue to follow my true passion of health and wellness and will be devoting my time and energy to growing my organic hair care company Greenbody Greenplanet and you can always find me at my Fair Do’s booth at the Minnesota State Fair at the end of summer.
